It can be practiced by all, its self-defense system being mostly centered on techniques that enable people to avoid difficult situations. This system also offers weapons training and traditional katas.

Self-defense
No matter what activity we practice, self-confidence has to be one of the most important elements of our success. Be it for a stroll in the park, an important business meeting or a school exam, our level of self-confidence often makes the difference between success and failure.
Self-defense is an activity that is part of martial arts and has a considerable positive effect on self-confidence. Knowing how to defend ourselves and how to react in difficult situations is certainly an essential asset in today’s society. Like its name indicates, self-defense is not based on attack. It rather consists in a set of simple and efficient techniques that lets people defend themselves adequately and sufficiently against any type of attack.
In addition to the beneficial effect on self-confidence, boosting the ability to face diverse situations, people practice self-defense for the sport and to get back in shape. Indeed, practicing self-defense contributes to the improvement of physical shape, flexibility, stamina, agility and speed. From the shortest to the tallest, the youngest to the oldest, self-defense is a complete sport that contributes to everyone’s physical and mental development.
